Position Summary: United Legwear & Apparel Europe BV is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to drive the expansion of Hurley (menswear & apparel) and Skechers (socks) brands across Europe. Based in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, in this role, you will play a crucial role in accelerating sales growth, enhancing brand presence, and leading strategic expansion efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer, you will manage key accounts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This role will require frequent travel to key markets across Europe, engaging directly in negotiations and sales appointments with key accounts. This presents a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader with a passion for sportswear and accessories, strategic acumen, and a strong focus on key account management. Mission and Ambition: The mission of this role is to establish a formidable sales presence that drives significant revenue growth and market share expansion for Hurley and Skechers (and other brands/categories are in the cards such as ted baker, accessories…) . As we continue to sign more licenses and expand our brand portfolio, this role will be vital in realizing our ambitious growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Expansion: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand Hurley (men apparel) and Skechers (socks) brands in Europe, focusing on key markets. Prioritize sales efforts based on market segmentation and emerging trends. Brand Management: Lead brand-building efforts, aligning sales strategies with brand objectives. Collaborate closely with the product engine to drive assortment and pricing strategies. Key Account Management: Manage relationships with major retailers Drive sales negotiations and secure volume distribution in targeted markets. Market Prioritization: Define and prioritize markets for expansion, focusing on Hurley and Skechers products. Evaluate opportunities for expansion into additional product categories and channels. Sales Execution: Take a proactive approach to sales efforts, engaging directly in negotiations and sales appointments with key accounts. Drive sales volume and revenue growth while maintaining brand integrity and market positioning. Requirements: Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 7 years of sales leadership experience in the sportswear or apparel industry. Key Account Management : Demonstrated success in strategic key account management, including building and maintaining strong relationships with major retailers. Market Understanding : Strong understanding of European market dynamics, including trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. Communication and Negotiation Skills : Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for engaging with key accounts and driving sales growth. Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to expand brands in Europe, focusing on key markets and prioritizing sales efforts based on market segmentation and emerging trends. Brand Management : Experience in leading brand-building efforts and aligning sales strategies with brand objectives.
