Our team obtains the best manufacturing technology for Cimpress: the “maximum value” out of strategic relationships with category-world-leading suppliers across the many industry categories: an optimal balance between cost, productivity, sustainability, complemented with expert market and product knowledge. One of the challenges for our Capex Procurement value creation is to coordinate our highly decentralized businesses to go to market leveraging our collective knowledge and our buying power. For that, we want the support of a motivated, resourceful and technology curious Global Capex Procurement Trainee to build our knowledge sharing projects and our decision making processes. The training will take place over 10 months between September ‘24 until June ‘25. The work can be performed remotely for most of the time, with only occasional presence in our Venlo factory (for briefings and exposure to our manufacturing environment). Our requirements are an excellent level of English, an outspoken and communicative personality, proficiency in using IT productivity tools like spreadsheets, presentation and text processing software, the ability to plan and control projects, and a passion for technology. You will have the chance to learn how to create supplier value in a post-acquisition Integration environment of highly decentralized businesses, which could inspire you to write your end of studies thesis. What You Will Do: Support for tenders’ planning: Data gathering, consolidate requirements, update files; Negotiation preparation: documentation management, support tactics and strategy design; Budget preparation: confirm the latest pricing and current volumes; Project management: support project updates and reviews on the company’s cloud spend management solution; Price management: Support internal communication on price changes to ensure alignment at multiple businesses; Material classification maintenance: ensure that classification on Spend management solution is accurate, including sustainability information. Market Intelligence: understand, consolidate, and present market data to support procurement decisions.
