Job Description: We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable management, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage the accounts receivable process for domestic and international customers, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections and reconciliations. Collaborate with customers, sales, customer service and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes promptly. Review aging reports and follow up on past due accounts to minimize delinquencies and maintain healthy cash flow. Monitor credit limits and make recommendations for adjustments based on creditworthiness and payment history. Maintain detailed records of customer transactions and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding account status and collections efforts. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting. Ideal Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field advantageous 2 to 5 years experience in accounts receivable management, in a manufacturing or chemical industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Experience working in a global or multi-national company a plus.
